Barbie done, Justin Trudeau watches Oppenheimer with daughter Ella

After watching Greta Gerwig’s Barbie with his oldest son Xavier, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepped out to watch Oppenheimer with his daughter Ella. He shared a picture from their outing on microblogging site X, formerly Twitter.

On Wednesday, Trudeau shared a picture with Ella from the screening of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. He was casually dressed in a black tee, denims and cap for his outing with his daughter. Ella was wearing a brown tank top, camo brown pants and a white hoodie.

“Balancing things out: Oppenheimer with Ella,” the caption read.

Earlier, he shared a picture from his movie date with son Xavier. The father-son duo is dressed in pink as they stepped out to watch the film.

Meanwhile, Justin Trudeau announced his separation with wife, Sophie Gregoire — with whom he also shares daughter Ella-Grace, 14, son Hadrien, 9 and Xavier.

In a statement Trudeau posted on Instagram on Wednesday, he wrote, “Hi everyone, Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate.”

“As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build,” he continued. “For the well-being of our children, we ask that you respect our and their privacy. Thank you.”
