Commenting on the announcement, Bipul Chandra, MD of Ducati India, said, "I am excited to have Ranveer on board as the ambassador for Ducati in India! The Diavel V4 is the perfect motorcycle to announce this partnership as both Diavel and Ranveer command a unique presence in their respective worlds. We have had a spectacular pre-launch response to the Diavel V4 as the first two lots are already sold out. A Red Diavel V4 is also heading to Ranveer’s garage, and I am sure that it will set a new benchmark in the segment of sport nakeds and muscle cruisers.”

The highlight of the new motorcycle is of course the V4 Granturismo engine, which is a 1,158cc four-cylinder, liquid cooled engine which produces 168bhp and 126Nm of torque. This is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with the Ducati quick shifter. The engine has a linear power delivery with heaps of torque through the entirety of the rev range.

The muscular cruiser is based on a monocoque chassis. It uses a 50mm USD fully adjustable front suspension and a fully adjustable rear monoshock. The Diavel V4 uses 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber.

Ducati has given the Diavel V4 Omega LED headlights and DRLs, multi-point LED rear lights, integrated dynamic turning lights which give it the characteristic look. The motorcycle also gets a 20-litre fuel tank, 330mm double disc brakes with Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers for braking.

Features include a 5-inch TFT with Bluetooth integration and Ducati smartphone app, turn by turn navigation, 3 power modes and 4 riding modes, Ducati's latest 6-axis IMU, ABS cornering, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Power Launch, Cruise Control and much more.
