Hyderabad youth falls to death while secretly meeting his girlfriend on terrace

A 20-year-old bakery worker died after falling from the terrace of a three-storey building where he was secretly meeting his girlfriend in the Borabanda area of Hyderabad.

As the couple sensed being discovered, the youth tried to hide himself, and in the process, slipped and fell on the ground in the early hours of Monday.

The boy, identified as Mohammed Shoaib, was rushed to the hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, leading to his death while undergoing treatment.

Shoaib's father, Mohammed Shoukat Ali, lodged a formal complaint on August 6 at around 8 am, detailing the incident. He revealed that his son, Shoaib, who worked at a bakery in Borabanda often reaches home at 1 am, but he hadn't arrived home on Monday.

Reportedly, he went to meet the girl and fell from the third floor of the building, and it took approximately an hour before they became aware of the distressing occurrence.

Shoukat Ali, accompanied by his younger son Shahid and a relative named Moiz, shifted Shoaib to Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad, where he was admitted for treatment. At approximately 5:30 am, a duty doctor declared Shoaib dead.

An urgent plea for appropriate action was made, resulting in the registration of a case under section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
