Kerala Assembly passes resolution against Uniform Civil Code; Day 2 of No-Confidence Motion; more

Expressing concern and dismay over the Centre's move to impose the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), the Kerala Legislative Assembly on Tuesday unanimously passed the resolution against the UCC. Calling the Centre's move a "hasty action", Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan claimed that the implementation of the UCC would topple the Constitution's secular character.

No-Confidence Motion News Updates: The Lok Sabha is expected to witness a fiery session for the second day in a row as the Opposition will resume its debate on the no-confidence motion. The debate was initiated on Wednesday by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi alleging that the government which talks about "one India" has created "two Manipurs".
