Mahesh Babu is celebrating his 48th birthday today, August 9. On his special day, several celebrities wished him and fans just couldn't keep calm. The superstar has enjoyed a successful acting career spanning several decades. Tollywood celebrities, co-stars and other friends from the fraternity have taken to social media to share their birthday wishes for the 'Pokiri' actor. Even his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, shared a heartfelt birthday wish for her husband.

CELEBRITIES WISH MAHESH BABU ON 48TH BIRTHDAY

Other prominent celebrities like Chiranjeevi, and Pawan Kalyan also wished Mahesh Babu on his birthday.

MAHESH BABU'S 'POKIRI' RE-RELEASED ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Among all the fun activities that took place on Mahesh Babu's birthday, the highlight was the re-release of the blockbuster 'Pokiri.' Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film, originally released in 2006, was a tremendous success at the box office. In celebration of the actor's birthday, 'Pokiri' was screened on over 175 screens worldwide.
