Uttarakhand woman kills husband to continue illicit relationship with cousin

A woman murdered her husband in a bid to continue her illicit love affair with her cousin in Uttarakhand's Udham Singh Nagar. The affair reportedly began while the husband was working in Dubai.

The incident took place when the woman's husband decided to come back from Dubai to set up a local shop to support his family. However, this decision did not sit well with his wife and her lover.

Subsequently, they drugged him with a sleeping pill and later suffocated him with a pillow.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police initiated an investigation and sent the body for post-mortem. It was found that the woman had been in a relationship with her cousin for the past eight months. Moreover, she also wanted to take control of her husband's property.

Police have arrested the accused and are currently investigating the matter.
