Won't speak on Adani today: Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi has started speaking on the no-trust debate in Parliament. Rahul Gandhi thanked Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for reinstating him as member. "Speaker Sir, thank you for reinstating me in the Lok Sabha. When I spoke the last time, I probably hurt you .. because I focussed so much on Adani, because your senior netas," Rahul Gandhi said. He said, "Today, I won't speak on Adani." He cited famous Persian poet Rumi and said he won't launch an all-out attack on the BJP. "I want to speak from my heart today. I won't launch a fierce attack on the government today like I always do," he said.

Leader of Congress in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that Gandhi will speak today and will begin from Congress’s side at 12 noon. However, Congress chief whip K Suresh said, “So far, we haven't received any information from Rahul Gandhi's office on whether he will speak in Parliament today or tomorrow. We are awaiting the confirmation.”
