On camera, man attacked with knives inside court premises in Haryana's Fatehabad
CCTV footage of miscreants attacking a man, who was visiting a lawyer at Fatehabad Court, with knives on court premises has surfaced. A man has been arrested in the case and a senior police official has said that a probe into the matter is underway.
Haryana Police arrested a man for allegedly attacking another on court premises in Fatehabad. The incident of violence in the court complex was captured on CCTV, a video of which has surfaced. The police told India Today that the accused has criminal antecedents.
Speaking about the incident, DSP Jagdish Kajla said, "A man named Bablu, a resident of Jandwala Sottar village, is a witness in a case and he came to testify in court in connection with the same case. After the testimony, he (Bablu) went to his lawyer's chamber to ask about the next date of the hearing. There he had an argument with a few individuals named Sonu, Lakhan and Bhirdania. These three men attacked Bablu with knives."
"Further action is being taken by registering an FIR against the accused, many criminal cases have already been registered against the attacker," the senior police officer said.
