Union Minister and BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje says, "By giving a flying kiss to all women members, Rahul Gandhi went away. This is a total misbehaviour of a Member. This is inappropriate and indecent behaviour of a Member. Senior members are telling that this has never happened in the history of Parliament of India...What is this behaviour? What kind of a leader is he? That is why, we have complained to the Speaker to take CCTV footage of it and take action against him. This is what we have demanded."

BJP MP Kirit Premjibhai Solanki called the INDIA alliance 'ghamndiya' today. He attacked Opposition leaders on corruption, dynasty politics and appeasement. 

Congress has alleged that Rahul Gandhi spoke on Manipur issue for 15 minute 42 second but the Lok Sabha speaker showed him for 4 minutes. 

"Rahul Gandhi spoke on Manipur in the House for 15 minutes 42 seconds.During this, speaker Om Birla was shown on @sansad_tv for 11 minutes 08 seconds. Rahul ji was shown only for 4 minutes," Congress said. 

JDU National President Lalan Singh took a dig at the BJP over employment. He said, "The BJP promised 2 crore jobs but failed to provide jobs."

Union Minister Smriti Irani hit out at Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha on Wednesday after the Congress MP's speech in the ongoing no-confidence motion debate in Parliament. "Rahul Gandhi reposed faith on Muslim League and called it a secular party. How can the Muslim League, who killed 83 people in Moradabad, be secular?" says BJP MP Smriti Irani in Lok Sabha. 

Union Minister Smriti Irani on Wednesday came down heavily on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his "murder of India in Manipur" remark in Lok Sabha, saying this is for the first time in parliamentary democracy that someone has made such a statement.

Speaking soon after Gandhi concluded his speech on the no-confidence debate in the House, the BJP member, who is minister for women and child development, said Manipur is an integral part of India.

"I condemn the behaviour that was displayed. This is the first time that someone talked about the murder of India, and Congress leaders were thumping desks," Irani said.

"Manipur is not divided, it is a part of this country. A member of his (opposition) alliance said in Tamil Nadu that India only means north India. If he has the courage, Rahul Gandhi should comment on this... another Congress leader said there should be a referendum on Kashmir," she said.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare Shobha Karandlaje has filed a complaint with the Speaker against "inappropriate" behaviour against Rahul Gandhi. Women MPs have signed a letter and have demanded stringent action.

Her remarks came as Rahul Gandhi gave a flying kiss to BJP members in Parliament while leaving.

"Union Minister and BJP MP Smriti Irani says, "Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah & Defence Minister Rajnath Singh repeatedly said that the government is ready to debate on the Manipur issue. The opposition ran away from it, we did not," Smriti Irani in Lok Sabha.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in his first speech in Parliament after he was reinstated as an MP, on Wednesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Manipur violence and said the government "divided" the northeastern state into two parts. Read the story here
