Prince Harry's title has been changed on Royal Family's website.

Prince Harry’s title of 'His Royal Highness' (HRH) has been officially removed from the Royal Family's website three years after he stepped down from the royal duties.

The Duke of Sussex stepped back from his royal duties alongside his wife Meghan Markle in 2020.

The update on the website comes days after the Express reported that Prince Harry was still being referred to by his HRH title in a bio on the website. The references, which were linked to Harry’s work to raise awareness around HIV/AIDS in 2016 as reported by People, have now been updated to refer to him as “the duke” or “the Duke of Sussex”.

The update was part of a broader revision of the website following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The site now reflects the current titles of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, previously known as the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. Similarly, Prince William and Kate Middleton's titles have been updated to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Palace stated that the website, containing over five thousand pages of information about the Royal Family, is being updated periodically following the Queen's passing. Some content may remain outdated until the process is complete.

Harry and Meghan gave up their HRH titles along with their decision to step back from their roles as senior royals.

Interestingly, the titles of Harry and Meghan's children, Archie and Lilibet, were updated on the royal website earlier this year. Previously referred to as "Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor" and "Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor", they are now recognised as prince and princess following King Charles' ascension to the throne.
